On March 15, 2024, 10 Servier Australia members embarked on a journey to climb to the peak of Mount Kosciuszko, Australia’s highest point, to raise funds and awareness for rare, less common, and complex cancers. The Kosi Challenge, hosted by Rare Cancers Australia, was not only a physical endeavour but also a symbol of our solidarity with those facing the battle against rare diseases.

A huge congratulations to our Kosi Challenge climbers who have made it to the top of the mountain – Melanie Chamaux, Sarah Collings, James Gaw, Sabrina Den Braber, Hope Chernih, Kristina Agioski, Esme Munro, Tania Nardo, Francis Hinds, and Sweet Leng.

We also had a large team of Servier staff participating in the Challenge virtually, by walking or running a goal of their choice during March 2024.

Importantly, all funds raised through the Kosi Challenge went towards the vital work of RCA’s Patient Support Team, supporting patients living with rare and less common cancers, their families, and carers.

We’re very grateful for the support we received from our global colleagues, who have shown their solidarity and commitment for raising awareness and funds for rare cancers.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us, whether by joining the climb or contributing to the cause. Together we raised over $13,000 , which contributes to the vital work of Rare Cancers Australia’s Patient Support Team and brings us closer to a world where no one faces rare cancer alone.

Together, we can make a difference, one step at a time.
